Every piece that leaves this studio carries a purpose beyond the paint. A portion of every sale goes toward cancer care and research right here in Hamilton — supporting the patients, families, and clinicians fighting battles most people never see, until those battles become their own.
Why This Matters
This work is personal. Lynch syndrome — a hereditary condition that raises the lifetime risk of several cancers — touches more lives than most people realize, and far too quietly. Awareness saves lives. Research saves lives. Early detection saves lives. And too many people don't get those chances simply because no one was talking about it.
So we're going to talk about it. And we're going to help fund the work that changes outcomes.
Where Your Support Goes
A portion of every JBABY Art sale is donated to the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation, supporting cancer care and research at the Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre — home to the regional Cancer Genetics Clinic, where families with hereditary cancer risk like Lynch syndrome get the counselling, testing, and early detection that change outcomes.
It's local. It's real. And it's the same Hamilton hospital network our Canvas Clan community work already supports. When you buy a piece, you're not just putting something beautiful on your wall — you're helping push resources toward the people in our own community who need them most.
