Canvas Collective is a growing community of Hamilton artists and art-lovers creating with and for the community — free classes in public parks, murals in hospitals and public spaces, mentorship between artists, and initiatives that give back to the city we call home. No fees. No gatekeeping. Just people, together, making Hamilton more colourful.

What We Do

  • Free Art Classes in Parks — open-air sessions where anyone can pick up a brush, led by Collective artists.
  • Murals That Heal — painting hospitals, community centres, and public spaces across Hamilton.
  • Learn From Working Artists — mentorship, skill-shares, and the chance to grow alongside people doing the work.
